What's next?

Matthew: "Hey, there's a Hannah Montana sticker on the ground."

Me: "How do you boys even know about Hannah Montana?"

Nathan: "What?! She's a famous rock star! Geez, Mom."

Apparently, even 6 and 8 year old boys who only watch Nick Jr. and Spongebob cartoons know who Hannah Montana is. I'm always surprised by the permeating nature of pop culture.

And we're all hoping here that she doesn't turn into another Lindsey Lohan! We've already been placing bets. lol

After spending 3 weeks this summer with older girl cousins, my kids know all too well who she is. Marian is even singing about "previous 'lationships we've shared". I blame Disney.

me too. pop culture is a powerful phenomenon, and watching my kids reminds me how much of my attitudes are probably coming straight from my culture too, rather than me.
