Crunchy, munchy, cold, wet...ICE! My fridge makes the best chipped ice and it is SO good. I eat it whenever I want a little treat, but especially in the evenings. No calories! The crunching drives my husband crazy. But I have to satisfy my ice habit.
Yes, it's bad for my teeth but I rationalize that chipped ice softened up a little in cold water isn't too bad. And yes, it can be an indication of iron deficiency but my doctor didn't seem to be too concerned.
It's a pregnant thing. At least I don't crave chalk or tires or pickles with ice cream.

I think I'd be happy with an ice craving, like you said, no calories. Mine haven't been too bad this time around either, so far its oranges and grapes.
I too am a life-long ice eater. People have always tried to talk me out of my habit. Glad to see you're sticking to your guns!
sounds much better for you than reese's pieces, which is all i've been thinking about lately! (but i'm not even prego)
I'm with Katherine on this one - at least you are pregnant. I have been having a serious junk addiction lately!! Can breast-feeding be an excuse??
i do have a friend who used to eat laundry soap - talk about pica! don't let anyone tell you ice is bad!
I used to do the same thing and my teeth survived. Just don't put any sugar in that ice!:)
I LOVE eating ice too!! It must be a pregnancy thing! Oh, and now I am craving ice-cream which I am bummed about because the extra calories! Are you being induced? Laci is on the 20th, I think I'll be the last to go into labor!
I STILL love crushed ice!! I don't have a fridge with a crushed ice maker any more, but it is still one of my favorite things!
