And Brian said, Let there be grass: and--after only a couple of hours and two trips to the sod farm because he miscalculated the first time--there was grass. And Brian saw that it was good. And Elly saw that it was very good, yea, even exceedingly good.
And the afternoon was the two hundred and thirty-sixth day (that we've lived in this house--which was yesterday).
And Elly said, Next, let there be trees and a sandbox and a fence: and Brian said, Yes ma'am.

Hey! He even curved that corner for you. What a guy!
looks good! and that was such a fun way to post it :) you always were the clever one
We are doing the exact same thing right now! Only I think it's about the 365th day for us!
Yard work, looks like fun! it was fun to see you at the park the other day. Maggie is so cute! Trey enjoyed playing with her.
Hooray for sod! Hooray for Brian! Hooray for rain to water the sod!! I told my kids that Saturday they can finally walk on our grass (after it being in for two weeks!). Get ready for the big BBQ!! :)
And now bring on the 40 days of rain!
I love it! Dont you feel all accomplished now? =) The sooner he gets working on those trees the sooner you get shade!! We planted our trees the summer we moved in 3 years ago and we are still waiting for some good shade!
You two make a great team! Brian works hard to create a beautiful yard. You create (I doubt you worked as hard as he did) a witty post to let us know all about it. Loved your post! The lawn looks great.
Yeah for a yard! Do you think he'd mind coming out to Florida and creating a yard for us too? I've really been wanting one lately...
Oh, its always nice to have a little yard----cutie!
Now you have some place to start pulling weeds from... :)
