Adventures in Photography

Fresh from his internship in Italy, my brother Jacob is staying with us for a few days before he heads out on his next adventure--an internship in San Diego where people die from great white sharks. But I digress.

Yesterday he took Maggie on a walk to the lake.

And then we tried to get a family picture.

First, Maggie threw a fit because Brian tried to move her 3 inches to the right and so we got pictures of her cute little bum.

And then while Maggie chewed on a watch, Matthew did karate.

Nathan made some pretty poses for the camera. When Becca woke up cold and grumpy and crying, we finally gave up.

In the end we did only slightly better than our last photo shoot. But since I've still got a lot of weight to lose, we'll try again later in the year.

Very cute. I know how hard it is to get those darn family pictures done with 4 kids. When we just had 2 kids we would get them done every 6 months. We are really streching to just get one in a year...unprofessional. It makes me cringe just thinking about trying to take pictures at a studio with 4 kids!

No fair! I wish Jacob could come snap some shots of my little one... Oh well. I love the pics, though! You guys are so cute. I still can't believe you have four kids. Crazy!

Is this Daybreak? This explains how you know my sister. I call that place Pleasantville. We used to live in the neighborhood directly south of Pleasantville. If it isn't Daybreak, then you have no idea what I am talking about.
