Newborns don't sleep when you want them to

Last night, Rebecca slept between 12:00 midnight and 2:00 am and again between 2:30 am and 4:00 am. And that was it. She's been going 5 or 6 hours between nighttime feedings lately, and so I was not prepared to be awake that much and it was a long, long night.

After getting Nathan out the door at 8:00 this morning, I fed Becca and went back to bed. Luckily Brian came home to keep an eye on the kids because I shut my bedroom door and was dead to the world until 11:00.

Let's see, it's 12:30 in the afternoon...I think I'll go take another nap. Goodnight.

You poor sleepy Mom. Is Becca going through a growth spurt? I know they say 3 weeks and 3 months are big spurts.
I did get your comment on my blog thanks. Nighty Night!

I'm so glad you were able to get a couple of naps. I hope Becca sleeps better tonight! Wish I could just pop over and give you a hand (during the day, of course :)).

Man, I don't miss this. I'm so sorry! Good thing you're taking your nap opportunities. I never did!

My wife Lindsey learned how combat this by training herself to sleep through an atomic bomb. Unfortunately, I can't sleep through a pin drop and I don't have breasts. So I guess we know what all that training did.
